Don’t Play Yourself.

LISTEN LINDA,

I’m so accustom to people being so indecisive and wish washy with their intents with me that I have this automatic defense mechanism to it that ultimately blocks me from receiving people who have set intentions with me. No more. I shall continue to call a spade a spade, but instead of fighting it, or proving it, I shall acknowledge it, show compassion, and move forward.

I can’t be upset with someone for not having their mind and heart aligned. I get it, but I for sure won’t accept it or waste my energy on trying to announce it to them. People who go from wanting you, to not wanting you in short periods, know what they are doing. People who go from liking you to disliking you in short periods, know what they are doing. How do I know this? Because I have been in their shoes. I know what it is like to not have set intentions with someone. I was fully aware of my actions.

Whatever the case may be, the excuses as to why they aren’t how they were in the beginning is not an excuse to stick around and try to justify why they acting funny style now. If they hit you with the, “I’ve been busy…. I’m tired after work….I’m not myself lately and need to get my mind right…” they bullshitting you. You know what it is like to be so intrigued with someone that you could be on your death bed and still wanna text your “Bae”. So don’t find yourself not paying attention to the signs that someone is just not real enough to let you know they no longer interested and go someone else that has them now to busy for you.

Don’t trip over it. Just acknowledge it and move forward. I know I will from this point on. Too many people out here thinking they running game and they aren’t. I’m just fine with people playing themselves, but what they won’t do is play me.

That’s all for tonight. I will be sure to continue to use my voice more frequently and hope you guys are out here learning with me. Stay cool, don’t let these fools see you sweat. ❤

xoxo Kaylen
